We have had the opportunity to work with a lot of bands… and the bigger the act the more difficult it can become to keep creative vision. But when local New York City band Ming Dynasty came back to us to help them with their website and packaging of their first CD “Yellow Tiger” the brief was simple, listen to the CD and visualize the music.
Pulling from the lyrics from the CD’s single also entitled “yellow tiger”… “I am yellow tiger, you are little bird - I’ll eat you with my tea - You’d better run away”. The part traditional illustration and part generative illustration plays upon this song’s lyrics.
The CD contains a fold out 14 x 18 inch poster of the yellow tiger illustration and can be purchased via the bands website.
We were asked by amp energy to build an interactive application that would allowed site visitors to visualize the various experiences of drinking amp energy. In the process, visitors learned which energy drink was right for them. This work was done with our good friends at TribalDDB, Dallas and Chuck Anderson at nopattern.
Go ahead, which amp is best for you? » view website
